The Kistner Approach

 

At the core of our philosophy is the belief that when the nervous system is functioning optimally, the entire body has greater access to healing, strength, and performance. That’s why we specialize in Total Body Stabilization (TBS)—a groundbreaking therapy developed by Joe Kistner, a Colorado Licensed Massage Therapist with over 30 years of experience in neuromuscular therapy and applied kinesiology.

 

TBS is a brain-based proprioceptive therapy that identifies areas where communication between muscles and the brain has broken down. Using gentle mobilization of the dermal layer at key muscle attachment points—especially in the feet—TBS helps reestablish these essential neurological pathways. The result is improved coordination, stability, reduced pain, and enhanced physical performance across all populations—from elite athletes to those recovering from injury.
